TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT
We live in a time in which everything is happening at a very fast pace. Technology is developing on a daily basis, opening up new possibilities for people and improving the comfort of our lives. All these new solutions are designed to help us as much as possible, at work and home, and certainly, nobody would like to go back to the days when there was no laundry and you had to wash your clothes by hand. Unfortunately, not all of the actions people take to develop technology have a positive impact on the environment.
ENVIRONMENTAL DISASTER
Despite many high-profile announcements, there are still factory owners who do not want to do anything to reduce their negative impact on the natural environment. All they can see is how much they stand to gain. They are in a circle of money chase and have no idea what a great injustice they can do to the natural environment. The current state of climate change is caused by heavy industry, agriculture, intensive economic development, combustion of fossil fuels, and excessive consumption. All this causes heat and fires that damage the natural environment and unfortunately, most people do not see the seriousness of the situation.
SUSTAINABILITY – FUTURE OF OUR CHILDREN
Sustainability. This should be the guiding principle of every owner of a factory. Unfortunately, there are still people who do not even have a clue about the actions that the word has to do with. With the power that we have, with the opportunity to write the post, we want to explain what sustainability is, and we are happy to do so. Sustainability is about striking a balance between the environment, equity, and the economy. Sustainable development is one which satisfies current needs without jeopardizing the capacity of future generations to satisfy their own. Sustainability is the promotion of the health and vitality of the environment, people, and the economy. To put it simply, sustainability is about the kind of world we leave behind for our future generations - our children and our grandchildren.
PROUD TO SAY
As a company, we want to set a good example and help protect the environment. Everything we do is done with sustainability in mind. That’s why 75% of the energy used in production comes from our photovoltaic farm. In 2024, we managed to save 101,849.23 kg of CO2 emissions and 3,039.89 trees. We are proud to inform you that our solar production is increasing every month and since the beginning of 2024 we have produced 132.46 MWh of energy.
LITTLE ACTIONS MATTERS
The wood we use to make our furniture is FSC certified, which ensures that FSC-certified wood products meet strict environmental, social, and economic standards to be considered sustainable. We are also proud to use recyclable packaging – no styrofoam, no plastic, and as filler, we use mulch made of old boxes, newspapers, etc. Furthermore, we do not lacquer fully the underside of our products, as those elements are not visible when used. Lacquering a non-visible part is a material and energy-intensive process that we believe should be avoided. We believe that even small things can have a positive effect if done regularly, especially when it comes to something as important as the natural environment we live in.
