Furniture Care
Furniture should be used in accordance with its intended purpose and with due care for its condition.
- For safety reasons, furniture should not be used in any other way.
In particular, standing on furniture, jumping on it, sitting on furniture not designed for that purpose, etc., is prohibited. Furniture should be used evenly across the entire surface to extend its lifespan. - Furniture should only be placed on leveled surfaces. To maintain their stability and firmness while sitting, all legs of the furniture or the entire base surface must be in contact with the floor. Do not lean or rock on the furniture or apply excessive weight.
- Do not push or pull furniture as this may cause partial or permanent damage. Furniture should be lifted and carried.
- Furniture should be used in dry, enclosed spaces protected from harmful weather conditions. Recommended climate conditions for the room:
- temperature 15 ÷ 25°C,
- relative humidity 40÷70%, too dry air may cause deformation of wooden elements,
- avoid direct contact with water or other liquids and placing furniture on wet surfaces due to the risk of water absorption by wood and wood-based materials and corrosion of metal bases.
- Furniture should not be placed less than 1 meter from active heat sources (radiators, stoves, fireplaces, etc.).
- Furniture should be protected from direct sunlight (sunlight can alter the color of wood and lacquer coatings).
- Furniture surfaces should not be exposed to high temperatures (e.g., hot dishes) and solvents. These factors may damage the surface, causing discoloration or dullness. Any spilled water, alcohol, or other liquids should be wiped off immediately.
- Protect furniture surfaces from scratches, abrasions, and impacts.
Cleaning and maintenance recommendations:
Remove dirt and stains gently with a cloth dampened in a soap solution (do not use abrasive or solvent-based cleaning agents). Do not apply excessive force and do not rub too hard or too long in one spot.
